Recycled cosmetic bag made of natural jute “Buddha”

This eco cosmetic bag is handmade with love of a recycled natural cotton material. Also the beautiful buddha print was stamped by hand. The inside of the eco makeup bag has a lining which is made of natural white linen.

The cute vanity bag has a zipper and also a handle on the side.

It is very handy as a makeup bag, jewellery pouch, vanity bag or compact bag on travels. But also it can be used for travel documents or travel kit. It is a wonderful gift for a birthday, mother’s day or graduation.

And again, quite by chance while cruising through Bali on a scooter, we came across Bakhtiar’s little shop. From the outside we were attracted by colourful bag creations made of different fabrics and materials. As soon as we entered his shop, he came straight to us and looked at us with his big smile.

He proudly showed us his bag collection, which he and his family have made from recycled materials into new handbags, shoulder bags, cosmetic bags and backpacks.

He also embellished them with colourful beads and decorative ribbons and printed them with interesting patterns and pictures by hand.

Family teamwork is also used in this business. Bakhtiar’s brother was sitting at the sewing machine, which was clearly visible in the shop, and he always giggled funny when Bakhtiar made a little joke.

And his beautiful little daughter “Rose”, who has the same name as her mom, helped us with the difficult choice when choosing our cosmetic bags 😉
