All of our Sunshine Tops were sewn by the talented Clara from Bali. She owns a small shop where she not only sews and works, but also lives there with her family. She simply separated her living space with a curtain. We met her four years ago when we traveled to Bali for the very first time. Her shop was right on the way home so we stopped by her one day to have something pretty sewn for us.
We really liked the idea of owning a piece of clothing that was sewn by hand and under fair conditions. And now we want to give you the opportunity to do so. We went in search of unusual fabrics that are nevertheless very typical of Bali. These were made with a complex and typically Balinese batik printing process.
