A new chapter: Our rebranding
With joy and a pinch of nostalgia, we invite you to experience an exciting new chapter in our brand history with us. Our journey began 9 years ago in Berlin with Weltentänzer – a vision that has allowed us to grow, learn and break new ground in recent years. Now it is time to make this change visible and to communicate our development to the outside world.
Why a rebranding?
Our brand has had an impressive journey over the last nine years. Starting in Berlin with a clear vision to create sustainable and handmade fashion, we have inspired our audience step by step. But just as our collections have evolved, so has our path in life. The move to Bali 4 years ago was a significant turning point. This island has not only shaped our everyday life, but also our creative work. Its colors, nature and people inspire us every day.
Over time, our customer base has also become more international. We are incredibly grateful that our fashion is now worn not only in Germany, but worldwide. But with this global expansion, we have also encountered challenges. For example, the pronunciation of our name “Weltentänzer”, which poses difficulties for many international customers. That’s why we decided it was time to find a new name that reflects our vision and growth.
What’s changing?
The biggest change: Our new collections will be released under the name Frieda Moon in the future.
Why this name? We were looking for something that captures our roots and our spirit. At the same time, the name has a very personal meaning for our founder and designer Jenny. It stands for a positive energy that supports her in her creative work and gives her strength.
But don’t worry: Weltentänzer will stay.
Our original women’s fashion brand will remain a part of our identity. It is the heart of where it all began and will continue to exist. Earthling, our men’s brand, will also remain. Both brands are closely linked to our history and represent the diversity of our label.
What does this mean for you?
Frieda Moon will now be the centrepiece of our new collections – the fresh, new look that represents our way forward. At the same time, Weltentänzer will remain an integral part of our family of brands, carrying on our history and traditions.
So you can rely on us to continue to put the same dedication, care and passion into every single garment that you have come to expect from us. Our vision of creating sustainable and handmade fashion from Bali remains firmly anchored in everything we do. The rebranding is not a farewell, but an expansion – a next step in our development.
